RTPTCA joined the 52nd Annual Durham CROP Hunger Walk on March 29, starting at Duke Chapel—marking our first-ever participation in this meaningful event!

Through Church World Service, the walk supports organizations like Meals on Wheels and Urban Ministries of Durham.

A special thanks to Lazar for initiating this, and to everyone who contributed and joined the walk.

Did you know that over 34 million people in the U.S. face hunger—1 in 10 people, including 1 in 7 children? Just $3–$4 can feed one person for a day. Small acts of generosity truly make a big difference.

It was a walk of purpose, unity, and compassion—every step bringing us closer to hope and a hunger-free tomorrow. As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said,

“The time is always right to do what is right.”
